General Information                           The term "U-Volley" is USA Volleyball's designation for competition among men's teams whose players are under six feet (6') or women's teams whose players are under five feet nin inches (5'9"). The purpose of these championships is to provide a high quality volleyball tournament for adult players of shorter heights in all ability levels.  To verify that all participants are within the height requirement, all participants must show a driver's license with their height indicated.  If a participant does not have a driver's license or the player's height is in question by another team or the tournament director, this player will be measured in the following manner. - A mark is establised at the appropriate distance from a wall to measure participants. - Participants will be asked to lie on the floor with their stocking feet flat against the wall. - The participant's knees must be straight so that the backs of the knees touch the floor. - Anyone whose head passes the measurement mark will not be allowed to play in this event.  The $10 One-Event Pass may be used for these tournaments.  One-Event Passes cannot be used as upgrades to full memberhsip.  Uniforms are not required.  Teams must supply first and second referees, two line judges, and a scorekeeper.
