2009 Girl's Global Challenge
This will be the NCVA’s fifth year participating in the European Global Challenge. In 2009 the Global Challenge Team will return to the beautiful seaside town of Pula, Croatia. The team will travel to Vienna, Austria and then head to Maribor, Slovenia to train with the Slovenian Youth National Team for three days. The team will then depart for Pula, Croatia and the 2009 European Global Challenge. Following the tournament, the team will travel to Venice, Italy before departing for home.
Travel Days: July 13, 2009 - teams depart USA / July 25, 2009 - Teams return to the USA Tournament Dates: Between July 20 & July 23, 2009 Opening Ceremonies: July 19, 2009 Tournament Site: Pula, Croatia Cost: We make every attempt to minimize player costs, which are currently anticipated to be around $3000 per player. Costs include all hotels, ground transportation, three meals per day, and all volleyball-related expenses. Airfare is not included. Parents cost is $1,900 plus an additional $600 for a single room. Airfare is not included.

Costs include all hotels, ground transportation, three meals per day, and all volleyball-related expenses. Airfare is not included.

2008 Girl's USA Championships
In July 2009, some of our participating athletes will represent the NCVA in an inter-regional USA Volleyball High Performance Championship tournament. The NCVA will be sending 4 teams to this event, one International Junior, One International Youth, One National Youth and One National Select. This event is run by USA Volleyball.

Cost: We make every attempt to minimize player costs, which are currently anticipated to be around $950 per player plus airfare and food. Parents are invited to attend this event. If you would like to attend, the NCVA will make your hotel and air reservations for you and invoice you for the cost. As a parent, you must notify the NCVA before the deadline of April 1, 2009 if you would like your travel arrangements to be made by the NCVA.
